Do you want to monitor the material level in your material bin or determine when the lid may be opened? That often requires separate sensors, a lid lock and extra wiring. On mobile material bins with integrated level monitoring and lid lock, these parts are already fitted and wired at the factory. What is built in?

  • A low-level sensor that reports when the material reaches the minimum level.
  • An electromechanical lid lock.
  • A red signal lamp, whose function you determine in the control system.
  • One 10-pin plug for all signals to the control system.

Everything is fitted and wired at the factory. The bins are available round in 120 and 215 litres and square in 200 litres.

Less installation and wiring work

Because the parts are already fitted and wired, there is no need to install the low-level sensor, lid lock and signal lamp separately. You connect the bin to your control system and determine there which action follows each signal. Think of a warning at a low material level or releasing the lid when refilling is allowed.

What should you look out for when connecting?

One plug keeps the connection simple, but the bin does not automatically work on every system. Check in advance:

  • Electrical: do the supply voltage, signals and pin assignment match your control system? The pin assignment is on the type plate.
  • Low-level signal: which action should follow when the bin is almost empty?
  • Lid lock: when may the lid be opened, and what happens in the event of a power failure?
  • Signal lamp: which state does the lamp indicate?
  • Suction: does the suction box match your suction probe and conveying hose?

A lid lock does not check which granules are being refilled. If you want to prevent the wrong material being fed in, additional measures are needed, such as material identification.

When do you choose this version?

This version is suitable if you want to monitor the material level and control the opening of the lid via the control system. If you only need a mobile storage bin, a simpler version is sufficient, such as the mobile material bin low or high.
